The Canal is delivering classic early June conditions. Anglers are reporting productive sessions, especially during early morning and evening tides. Striped bass are active, with fish ranging from schoolies to over 40 inches. Jigging and casting topwater lures have been the most effective, particularly near the west end.

Cape Cod Bay is heating up for flounder fishing, especially between Dennis and Truro in about 40 feet of water. Sea worms, clam, and mussels are working well. Striped bass up to 45 inches are also being caught using topwater lures and light tackle.
